The staff at Jackson-Williams Appraisers hold degrees from The George Washington University, Shepherd University, and Mountain State University. Beyond these degrees, the staff has accumulated hundreds of hours of tested appraisal education and yearly continuing education. In fact, the staff is qualified by the West Virginia Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board to teach appraisal courses.
The staff at Jackson-Williams Appraisers have been appraising real property in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia since 1993. In fact, the staff has a combined 58 years of appraisal experience within the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. This experience includes the full spectrum of real property from the smallest dwellings to the largest commercial and industrial buildings and everything in between.
Education or experience alone do not lead to credible and reliable appraisals. To truly be credible and reliable, an appraisal must be independent, impartial, and objective. To that end, the appraisal professional is governed by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
