Jackson-Williams Appraisers, Inc. was founded in 1993 by Kevin C. Jackson and C. Michael Williams to provide superior real estate appraisal services to the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
Michael Williams specializes in commercial, industrial, multifamily, and other nonresidential properties with over 27 years experience in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Michael holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration from The George Washington University with a major in Finance. He was a National Merit Scholarship Finalist at Mussleman High School and a Presidential Scholar at The George Washington University. Michael was first credentialed as a Licensed Residential Appraiser in June of 1993 before upgrading to Certified Residential Appraiser in October of 1995. He became a Certified General Appraiser in August of 2004 and an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor in March of 2014.
Nathan Lark joined the staff in 2011 as an apprentice and became a Licensed Residential Appraiser in 2012. He quickly upgraded his license to Certified Residential in 2013. He is currently the lead residential appraiser at Jackson-Williams Appraisers and focuses on a wide spectrum of residential properties. He also has experience in nonresidential appraisal. Nathan is a graduate of Musselman High School and holds a Bachelor's of Science from Mountain State University. He recently retired from the West Virginia Air National Guard following 20 years of service and is a fee panel appraiser for the Veteran's Administration (VA). Nathan is also a registered appraiser for the Federal Housing Administration (FHA).
Kevin Jackson retired in December 2019. During his career he specialized in residential appraisal with more than 25 years of experience in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Kevin is a graduate of Martinsburg High School and holds a Bachelor's of Arts from Shepherd College (now Shepherd University). Kevin spent 18 years in banking as both a residential and a commercial lender before becoming credentialed as a Licensed Residential Appraiser in June of 1993. He upgraded to Certified Residential Appraiser in 2015. Kevin retired from full-time appraising on December 31, 2017.
C.M. Peavler was a beloved member of the Jackson-Williams family from 2005 until his untimely passing in September of 2007. C.M. remains part of the Jackson-Williams family in spirit.
